Bitfocus Companion is a widely used control and automation platform for live production, allowing you to trigger actions across hardware and software from a unified interface. This module lets you use your USB GO BOX Mk2 as a Companion connection by exposing each hardware button as both a press and release event.

To install the module:

• Download companion-module-gobox2-cdc-v0.1.0.zip

• Unzip the file on your computer. You should end up with a module folder (do not rename the folder).

• Copy the unzipped folder into Companion’s user modules directory for your operating system:
   

  macOS
  ~/Library/Application Support/Companion/modules/user/
   

  Windows
  %appdata%/Companion/modules/user/
   

  Linux
  ~/.companion/modules/user/
   

• Restart Companion completely (quit and relaunch) so it detects the new module.

• In Companion, add the connection: Connections → Add, then search for “GO BOX 2” or “That Little Box”.

• Once added, the module will load and your GO BOX Mk2 button press and release events will be available for use in your Companion button actions.
